Where to find settings

You can access your settings from any page of the Xapien portal:

  1. Click on your initials, located at the bottom of the left sidebar.

  2. Select Settings.

What can I do in settings?

From Settings you can update your customisation preferences, edit your personal details, and manage your account security.

Editing Customisation

Within the Customisation tab you have the option to enable or disable the following features:

  • Show empty report sections

  • Show 'no risk identified' pills

  • Open reports in new tab

  • Show source publisher

  • Show 'My reports' filter

When a feature is on, the toggle appears dark green. When a feature is off, the toggle appears grey.

Editing Personal details

Within the Personal details tab you can edit the following:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Job title

Ensure you select Save changes at the bottom of the tab after making any changes.

Please note: your email address cannot be changed. If you need assistance with changing the email address connected to your Xapien account, please contact Customer Success or customer support.

Managing Account security

Within the Account security tab you can set up or reset Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your account.

For full instructions on setting up MFA, including enforced MFA and recovery codes, see: Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Note: If your organisation uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you will not see the Account security tab. MFA for SSO users is managed through your organisation's SSO provider.
