Ask Xapien lets you ask questions directly within a completed report. Rather than cross-referencing sections or going back to source documents, you can type a question and get an answer grounded in the research Xapien has already collected.
Every answer includes inline source citations, so you can verify the information immediately.
How to use Ask Xapien
Open any completed report.
Click "Ask Xapien" or the star icon in the top-right of your screen.
Type your question in the text box and press enter.
Ask Xapien remembers your conversation within the session, so follow-up questions work naturally. For example, you can ask "What financial crime risks were identified?" and then follow up with "Which sources support that?" without needing to repeat context.
Please note:
Chats are temporary. Conversations are not saved when you close the panel or refresh the page. Saved chat history will be coming in a future update.
Multilingual responses may work inconsistently. This is being improved in a future update.
Inserting answers into report sections is not yet available. The ability to add Ask Xapien responses directly into the report is coming soon.
Can other people see questions I've asked?
No. Each user's chat is private to them and is not visible to other users who have access to the same report.
How do source citations work?
Every claim in an Ask Xapien answer includes a source button. Clicking a source button opens the sourcing panel, showing the exact extract from the original source that backs the claim.
This allows you to go from reading an answer to viewing the original evidence in seconds, without any manual matching.
