Navigating Xapien Report Icons

What do the colours of the report icons show, and how do I determine if any risk has been identified on my subject?

Written by Lily Share

The icons at the top of your report give you a quick view of key areas for your subject. Think of them as your "at-a-glance guide" to what we've found.

These are configured and specific to the template you are using - there is one icon per section of your report.

How icons show risk

The way risk is displayed on report icons depends on the report template you are using.

General Research template

The General Research template uses a simplified two-tier risk model:

  • Potential risk - the icon is highlighted to indicate that potential risk has been identified in that area. Hover over the icon to see a summary.

  • No risk identified - the icon appears greyed out, indicating no risk was found for that section.

Xapien Risk Framework template

If your organisation uses the Xapien Risk Framework template (or another custom template with risk scoring enabled), icons use a colour-coded system to show the level of risk:

  • Red = High risk

  • Orange = Medium risk

  • Black = Low risk

  • Greyed out = No risk identified

Hovering over the icon will display the level of risk identified.

To check what template your report was run using, click on the 'i' icon next to the name of the report in the left side bar.

Risk indicators in the navigation menu

The navigation menu also shows the identified risk for each section with a coloured line, so you can scan the report quickly.

This ensures that you can instantly see where potential issues are, helping you focus your attention where it counts.
