Xapien Insights is a powerful AI-driven feature that analyses all the data collected in the Web and Media section, producing an accurate and fully sourced summary. This comprehensive overview can help you quickly grasp key information without manually reviewing each source.
To view sources for the summarised information:
Click into the section of interest to load the source material. As the source material loads you will see three dots circle around each other. Once the sources have loaded a circled green tick will appear next to the section.
Click on the information to bring up a list of the sources and external links.
Why is Xapien Insights not populated in my report?
As Xapien Insights uses data collected from the Web and Media section, it’s population is dependent on the quality of the media analysed.
The number of articles isn’t an indication of how much information Xapien Insights will have. Insights depend more on the quality of information provided rather than the sheer volume of sources. For example:
A subject with a high online presence but with low-quality sources (e.g., blogs, spammy websites, unverified articles) may result in an empty Xapien Insights section because such sources fail to meet credibility standards.
Conversely, a subject with a limited online footprint but featuring a few high-quality sources such as official LinkedIn profiles, corporate biographies, or verified records can lead to a well-populated Insights section due to the reliability and depth of these materials..
An empty Xapien Insights section is not always a fault, it reflects the quality of information readily available online. In fact, it can be reassuring and consolidate conclusions from your own research.
Keep in mind that an empty Insights section is often a reflection of data availability rather than a fault in the system. The system prioritizes credible information, so even after data is collected, the insights may remain sparse if the sources fail to meet analytical standards.
In situations where Xapien Insights is empty or incomplete, we recommend reviewing the Discarded Web and Media section to identify and confirm relevant articles. Ensuring these sources are credible and authoritative can provide additional materials for analysis. Remember, even when discarded articles are confirmed, insights might not populate if the sources lack relevance or credibility.

You can do this by clicking on the three dots on the right side of Xapien Insights paragraph and selecting the desired action.

Ask Xapien
Ask Xapien allows you to interact with the data provided and pull out specific bits of information from the report.
Clicking on the ‘Ask your own question’ button will generate some example questions that you might want to ask.
We recommend that you ask broader questions to give better results.
ℹ️ Just a heads-up: Ask Xapien isn’t a chatbot, so it doesn’t remember your previous questions. That means each query is handled on its own, giving you focused answers without being affected by earlier searches.
If you have a question about how the report was created, eg. what sources are used for corporate records, then you can Ask a Question with our AI Agent in the Help and Support widget located on the bottom right hand side of your portal.
Questions you ask appear in the section you asked them along with the name of the user who asked the question, and the date and time the question was asked. Hovering over the text you can view the sources used to answer your question.
Questions asked don’t need to be manually saved to the report. All of the customisations listed above can also be used.
For example, if you would like to remove questions you have asked, click on the three dots on the top right hand side of the question and select the bin icon.
