Xapien supports over 100 languages using Google Translate. Our neural risk engine analyses translated content to identify risks in non-English sources.
You can enter names and contexts in multiple languages (e.g., “Oleg Deripaska” or “Олег Дерипаска”).
For the best results, we recommend:
Running one report using the native script and another using Latin script.
When running a report using the Latin script, ensure both the subject and the context are in the Latin script.
Run the report using the name that your subject is most commonly known by (e.g. Jackie Chan instead of 成龍)
Please note, some languages - such as Arabic and Chinese - can be more challenging to search.
For Chinese characters, the name must be more than three characters for the system to start the enquiry.
For Arabic names, we advise using the most commonly listed name.
